The Downfall video has a very serious side. Losing the 2nd XI is a temporary thing. The objective of the Club is focused on reinstating the second XI. Doesn’t quite sound so ground-breaking, but in order to do that many other things need to happen that will enable the club to become a true club, back to where it used to be. This starts with bringing back the community, post-war spirit of GCC. And that starts with people playing and having a good time and a positive attitude. Project 2012 is ambitious – the 2nd XI re-instated by that season. But without this ambition, perhaps it is the beginning of the end? See you at nets.
