Who are Blewbury & Upton CC?  Visit their website to find out at – they have a very intersting article on how to make Tea, and appear to have been bowled out for just 7 in their last outing!

Sunday Skipper - Double Hard B*****d!

Skipper Tom Hedge had this to say prior to the game:  “Its a strong team, and all I ask is that my Batsmen score runs, and my Bowlers take wickets, but not as many as me! ”  He also added “I’m not to bothered about the result, it’s more about making a solid start to the season, and what I mean by this is how many lagers are bought for me after the game”

When I grow up I want to be just like the Sunday captain, it’s all about the angle of the pinky….

I take it that is the batting order?

That was not the batting order but the skipper’s minimum sales target of the number of tipples he is hoping to purloin from each of you during this season. Bad luck Tinky- I’ve got you down for at least 11 pinkies.

The real batting order for Sunday is:

    1. E Everitt
    2. O Carrier
    3. C Lewis+
    4. S Wincott
    5. M Deeks
    6. J Russell
    7. R Averill
    8. T Deeks
    9. P Slade
    10. T Hedge*
    11. T Ferry

    As I’m sure you’ll agree it’s a powerful look!

  4. Doesn’t matter how you shuffle the pack, it’s a damn fine looking team.
